BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Philippine Humanitarian Care (PHILCARE) Inc. supported the delivery of humanitarian assistance to earthquake-affected communities in Baguio City on September 19, 2022.
Through PHILCARE as the local partner, food assistance was distributed to 100 beneficiaries affected by the July 27, 2022 Luzon earthquake.
The response was undertaken through regional humanitarian cooperation involving the Southeast Asia Humanitarian Committee (SEAHUM), Disaster Management Center (DMC) and Dompet Dhuafa, with PHILCARE facilitating the local delivery of assistance in the Philippines.
The intervention formed part of PHILCARE’s emergency response engagement in Northern Luzon and its developing cooperation with regional humanitarian actors.
