CEBU, Philippines — Philippine Humanitarian Care (PHILCARE) Inc. completed an emergency relief response for 270 families affected by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) across communities in Cebu from November 16 to 20, 2025.

With support from MyCARE Malaysia, the response provided essential assistance to affected households in three locations: 100 families in Toledo City, 100 families in Consolacion, and 70 families in Danao City.

The assistance included food, safe drinking water, and hygiene supplies to help address immediate household needs following the typhoon.

PHILCARE worked through local coordination and field implementation to reach affected communities, with particular attention to vulnerable households, including older persons, persons with disabilities, female-headed households, low-income families, and families with limited access to other assistance.

The response was completed within five days, from mobilization through the completion of distributions across the three locations.

PHILCARE expresses its appreciation to MyCARE Malaysia, local coordinators, volunteers, community stakeholders, and all those who contributed to the implementation of the emergency response.
