MARAWI CITY, Philippines — Philippine Humanitarian Care (PHILCARE) Inc. provided emergency relief assistance to 704 families affected by flash floods and landslides in communities across Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte.
The response reached affected households in Balabagan and Kapatagan, Lanao del Sur, and Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte, following severe flooding and landslides that disrupted communities and created urgent humanitarian needs.
PHILCARE worked through local coordination and community-based implementation to facilitate the delivery of assistance to affected households.
The response formed part of PHILCARE’s continuing humanitarian work to assist disaster-affected communities and support timely, needs-based relief at the local level.
