MALAYSIA — Philippine Humanitarian Care (PHILCARE) Inc. participated in the 5th Annual General Meeting of the Southeast Asia Humanitarian network, held in Malaysia on October 4–5, 2023.
Held under the theme “Nurturing Localization Efforts to Improve Southeast Asia Humanitarian Affairs,” the meeting brought together humanitarian organizations from across Southeast Asia to strengthen regional cooperation and locally led humanitarian action.
PHILCARE was represented by three delegates, reflecting the organization’s continuing engagement with humanitarian organizations and networks across the region.
The gathering provided an opportunity for participating organizations to exchange experiences, strengthen relationships, and discuss approaches to improving humanitarian action through localization and regional cooperation.
PHILCARE’s participation formed part of its continuing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity, humanitarian partnerships, and engagement with regional humanitarian actors.
