SHAH ALAM, Malaysia — Philippine Humanitarian Care (PHILCARE) Inc. participated in the RDC Summit 2024, held on November 3–4, 2024, at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.
Held under the theme “Empowering Communities; Building A Better Ummah,” the summit brought together participants and organizations for discussions on humanitarian action, community empowerment, and cooperation.
PHILCARE was represented by its President and CEO, reflecting the organization’s continuing engagement with humanitarian and community-development actors in Southeast Asia.
The programme included “Humanitarian Without Borders,” highlighting humanitarian engagement beyond geographical boundaries and the importance of cooperation in responding to community needs.
PHILCARE’s participation provided an opportunity to engage with regional stakeholders, exchange perspectives, and strengthen institutional exposure to humanitarian approaches and experiences beyond the Philippines.
PHILCARE remains committed to strengthening its institutional capacity and developing responsible relationships that contribute to effective humanitarian and community-based action.
