On September 7–8, 2023, PhilCare carried out a humanitarian relief operation providing food packs to 558 families affected by Typhoon Egay across Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and Cagayan Valley.
The operation was one of PhilCare's largest emergency relief responses of 2023, a year in which the organization's accomplishment report also recorded expanded volunteer training, government advocacy engagement, and a broader national footprint beyond Mindanao.
