A second cohort of family-run enterprises in Lanao del Sur has joined PhilCare's microentrepreneurship program, receiving Zakat-funded seed capital and business mentorship.
The program pairs seed capital with mentorship as a Sadaqah-based grant rather than an interest-bearing loan, with a developing Waqf endowment intended to sustain the fund over time.
